- Go to: Content Management > Content Types > Edit Subpage > Manage Fields > Subpage Type (admin/content/node-type/subpage/fields/field_listing)
- Towards the bottom of the form is the "Allowed values list". Add the new item in there as key|label, where the key is the Drupal internal name of the Subpage type, used in list arguments, and the label is what will appear in various select lists or as the printed name of type. The two pieces of text are separated by a vertical bar (|).
- Click [Save field settings] at the bottom of the page.
