Our vision is one of an integrated telecommunications infrastructure that will allow Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders access to pertinent health information and resources through local community access points and key provider intermediaries. APIAHF maintains several electronic mailing list services:

Asian & Pacific Islander Health Community Voices is a forum to facilitate online discussions on strategies to build Asian American & Pacific Islander visibility and to strengthen the voices of its communities in the formulation of a national health policy agenda and platform. It serves as APIAHF's continuing dialogue with local ogranizations serving AAPI communities across the United States.Subscribe to: Subscribe or edit subscription here.

Asian & Pacific Islander Health Information is a list for disseminating and sharing health information, resources and policy issues amongst individuals and organizations that provide health services to the Asian American and Pacific Islander communities. API-Healthinfo contains state and national policy updates, the progress and pitfalls of the shift towards managed care, as well as other important health research and policy issues. Asian & Pacific Islander SARS/EMT is a list maintained under the auspices of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to disseminate timely information on Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) and Emerging Microbial Threats (EMT’s) to individuals and organizations, which provide health and human services to the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) communities in the country. Asian & Pacific Islander HIV Capacity Building Assistance is for disseminating and sharing HIV prevention information, resources and policy issues among researchers and program staff of organizations working with Asian American and Pacific Islander communities. Subscribe or edit subscription here.

Asian & Pacific Islander Tobacco Education Network is for network members and prospective members of the Asian and Pacific Islander Tobacco Education Network (APITEN). The unmoderated list is used to share news about tobacco research, policy initiatives, community events, funding opportunities, and media events in Asian American and Pacific Islander communities. The list helps APITEN members learn from each other by providing a venue for sharing information, experiences, stories, strategies, and opinions about their work in tobacco control. Asian & Pacific Islander Cancer Survivors Capacity Building Project is for Asian & Pacific Islander cancer survivors, their families and friends, health care providers, researchers, and community members who are concerned about cancer in the Asian American and Pacific Islander communities. Asian & Pacific Islander Women’s HIV/AIDS Network is a list for activists and participants from API service providers concerned with the specific issues and barriers to HIV/AIDS treatment and prevention in API women. APIWHANN strives to serve the community through advocacy, research, and making culturally appropriate, and linguistically sensitive recommendations to overcome the barriers to treatment and prevention.
