Community Engagement Assistant II
Provides administrative and coordination support to the Engagement Branch projects which includes but not limited to: the Asian & Pacific Islander National Cancer Survivors Network (APINCSN), Racial Equity Initiative (REI), Strategies to Research and Implement the Vision of Health Equity (STRIVE - REACH) Project, and the Health Through Action for Children and Families Initiative (HTACF).
Community Initiatives Director
The Community Initiatives Director will be responsible for developing, delivering and overseeing national, state, and/or local initiatives to impact policy, systems, and environmental (PSE) changes that improve health equity for AA and NHPI communities.
These initiatives will often be implemented in partnership with APIAHF subgrantee organizations. Thus, the Community Initiatives Director will work with the VP of Community Strategies, the Community Projects Director, and the Capacity Building Director to ensure a coordinated approach to working with APIAHF’s subgrantee organizations. The Community Initiatives Director will serves as APIAHF’s primary staff to support the AIM for Equity National Network, (a national network of organizations focused on AA and NHPI health equity).
Development Director
The Development Director is responsible for the development, design, and implementation of a comprehensive fund development program, including supporting the Board of Directors, executive staff including the President & CEO, and Branches and programs in meetings revenue and cultivation goals. This includes revenues from government, corporate, foundation and major donor sources. While only supervising one staff person directly, the Director series employees are expected to lead cross-organizational teams to achieve their goals and to assure the resources and technical knowledge for Board and staff to fulfill their responsibilities. While primarily focused on revenue-generation for sources which fund across the entire organization especially private sources, this position will also be a part of each grant proposal development management team, as well as with the F&A team which manages the re-granting functions.
Vice President of Impact Strategies
APIAHF is seeking a Vice President of Impact Strategies to lead our Impact Branch, consisting of Policy Analysis, Government Relations & External Affairs, Research & Data, and Communication teams.
The VP for Impact Strategies will serve as the one of the organization’s highest serving staff overseeing four key organizational functions of the organization: government relations and external affairs; policy analysis; strategic communications; and research and data. The VP for Impact Strategies is also the executive administrator of the Washington, DC Office.
Capacity Building Specialist
The Capacity Building Specialist II, is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering a variety of capacity building assistance activities on the topics of evidence based interventions and public health strategies. The Capacity Building Specialist will help community-based organizations (CBOs) that serve communities of color and/or people at risk for HIV to select, adapt, and implement evidence-based interventions and strengthen the processes and systems to monitor and evaluate those interventions.
Development Specialist
The Development Specialist will plan, implement and manage fundraising/development activities and strategies for APIAHF. Will also oversee the grant management and re-granting functions. This role works across the organization, supporting all the other branches in their ability to apply for and request funds.
