APIAHF coordinated the translation of (Chinese, Chamorro, Chuukese, Japanese, Korean, Marshallese, Samoan, Thai, Tongan, and Vietnamese) the Are You Ready fact sheet from the American Public Health Association to help our communities prepare themselves, for H1N1 pandemic flu. Share them with those you care about or pass them out in your community!

While the H1N1 (previously referred to as "swine flu") appears to have slowed in the United States, federal public health officials warn of a potential future recurrence as the outbreak continues its global reach. H1N1 is a new influenza virus causing illness in people. This virus is spreading from person-to-person, probably in much the same way that regular seasonal influenza viruses spread.
