The Asian & Pacific Islander American Health Forum's Health Care Reform Resource Center sheds light on how the over 2,400 pages of health care reform legislation relates to the Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander communities. We hope that these resources will help members of our communities understand how health care reform will impact their lives and our community advocates maximize and further health care reform's benefits for AA and NHPIs.
This Resource Center includes:
- The Impact of Health Care Reform: An assessment of how health care reform improves the access, affordability, and quality of health care for our communities, as well as what improvements we still need.
- Health Care Reform Implementation Timeline: Breaks down by year when key health care reform provisions for our communities will take effect.
- Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs): Answers common questions related to health care reform legislation.
APIAHF will continue to update the Resource Center with additional analyses of health care reform as it affects different segments of our communities.
