For Policymakers and Advocates
APIAHF is dedicated to empowering Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander communities with the tools and information to make informed decisions about their health care. APIAHF works in partnership with other non-profit organizations, community leaders, federal agencies and lawmakers to monitor the progress of health care reform to ensure it meets the needs of under-served and marginalized communities.
Fulfilling the Promise of Health Care
In order to fulfill the promise of health reform to increase health care access, improve the quality of care, and make health care affordable, we are working with federal agencies and lawmakers to ensure health care reform benefits Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians and Pacific Islanders. As implementation of the Affordable Care Act continues, APIAHF will continue to be a resource to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and Congress.
Check in periodically to track the progress of health reform implementation and APIAHF’s efforts to create a more equitable and sustainable health care system.
