November 2005 Special Election
Governor Schwarzenegger plans to continue moving his reform agenda forward in a Special Election to take place this November 2005. Health initiatives on the ballot include two competing prescription drug measures: Proposition 79, sponsored by consumer, senior and health organizations and Proposition 78, sponsored by drug companies. In addition, an initiative requiring parental notification for abortion is also expected.
