Governor Schwarzenegger created an initiative called the California Performance Review (CPR) in an effort to "restructure, reorganize and reform" state government. There is a proposed restructuring plan which includes the elimination of about 100 boards and commissions, including the Commission on Asian Pacific Islander American Affairs (fact sheet). Please take a moment to submit a letter to the Governor expressing your opposition to the elimination of the Commission. A template letter can be downloaded for your convenience.
