Franco Ciammachilli is a policy associate for the Asian & Pacific Islander American Health Forum (APIAHF), a national health policy organization dedicated to strengthening policies, programs, and research to improve the health and well-being of Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders.
Franco comes to APIAHF with over eight years of public outreach and public relations experience. Franco previously worked for a prominent political consulting firm that helped progressive organizations, Members of Congress, and Democratic candidates craft their political messages to law makers, constituents, and voters. He also has experience working on Capitol Hill for Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA), U.S. Representative Eni Faleomavaega (D-American Samoa), and Congresswomen Susan Davis (D-CA) on various issues related to Asian and Pacific Islander communities.
Franco is of Samoan and Tokelauan descent and grew up in Oceanside, CA. He received a BA in Political Science with a focus on International Relations and a minor in Economics from the University of California, San Diego.
