The VOICES 2011 Conference was a great success!

More than 300 community leaders, funders, policymakers, health experts and advocates came together to examine the role of purposeful and effective leadership for producing concrete outcomes.

Together we explored how we work with other communities of color and progressive forces in our movement to develop successful leaders, contribute to healthy communities, and create real change.

Thank you to everyone who joined us to explore how purposeful leadership for tangible outcomes influences our movement and impacts how we mobilize our communities in the next 25 years.

We identified and learned the required skills to create impactful and tangible outcomes in health policy, and determined how we can work with other communities of color and progressive forces to move toward cohesive action with greater impact.
