The state cancer health briefs provide information and data on the top 21 states with the largest Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander populations. Included in the health briefs are demographic data from the U.S. Census Bureau's American Community Survey 2006, except where otherwise noted, and disaggregated Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander data to show the changes in the populations from 2000 to 2006. Health departments and community organizations can utilize this data on cancer among Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians and Pacific Islanders along with resources, such as health services and cultural organizations, in their state.
