The RED team compiles, updates, and disseminates data on the demographic and socioeconomic characteristics of AAs and NHPIs to help inform the work of APIAHF and its partners. The main data sources we use include the American Community Survey (ACS), the Current Population Survey (CPS), and the decennial Census. We also staff the APIAHF Census Information Center (CIC), one of the 57 CICs around the country, providing access to Census Bureau statistics, data, and reports to underserved communities and data users; providing technical assistance to data users; and reviewing, evaluating, and providing feedback on Census Bureau products, programs, and services.
