Policy
APITEN is currently working on the following policy issues...
Please contact APITEN for more information about the above.
APITEN encourages community members to participate in the legislative process and educate legislators about the needs and efforts of the AAPI community. As part of this effort to demystify legislation APITEN offers legislative trainings locally throughout California. If you are interested in co-sponsoring an Information and Education Training in your area please contact APITEN.
Research
Data on AAPI health is rarely collected and often not reported. APITEN strives to add to health data on API issues by encouraging community members to conduct Community-Directed Research and sharing your research with others. If you are interested in conducting Community-Directed Research you can apply for a Mini-Grant under the APITEN Mini-Grant Program. If you have conducted any Community Research that you would like to share, we can highlight it on our web site and through our newsletter. Please contact us for more information.
