The Health Through Action for Children and Families (HTA-CF) grant is funded by the W.K. Kellogg Foundation. HTA-CF was launched to improve the health of vulnerable AA and NHPI children and families by addressing health disparities. HTACF builds upon APIAHF’s long partnership with the W.K. Kellogg Foundation on Health Through Action, a groundbreaking five-year national initiative aimed at reducing health disparities among AAs and NHPIs that ran from 2007 to 2012.
APIAHF’s goals for this initiative include:
Addressing the needs of AA and NHPI children and families, who are vulnerable to disparities in health, education, socioeconomic status, and immigration status.
Strengthening AA- and NHPI-serving CBOs’ policy and advocacy capacity and impact in order to influence policy, systems, and/or environmental changes focused on improving the health of vulnerable AA and NHPI children and families.
