Project IMHOTEP
The Project IMHOTEP is an 11-week summer intership program designed for under represented minority students who are interested in pursuing careers in public health, with a specific focus in biostatistics, epidemiology, and Occupational Safety & Health. Students will gain valuable experience in conducting public health research with health professionals at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The program is open to students with a major/minor in biology, chemistry, computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics, and any health related science.
Recruiting Young NHPI Leaders
APIAHF has been working with Morehouse College in the recruitment and selection process of qualified Native Hawaiians & Pacific Islander (NHPI) students throughout U.S. continent, Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories. This program will certainly help increase the pipeline as well as answer the need to train additional NHPI health and allied health professionals.
