Winston Tseng
Senior Research Associate
Winston Tseng, PhD is the Senior Research Associate at the Asian & Pacific Islander American Health Forum (APIAHF), a national health policy organization dedicated to strengthening policies, programs, and research to improve the health and well-being of Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders. He is a medical sociologist with extensive community-based participatory research (CBPR) experience with diverse and vulnerable populations in California and beyond.
Winston's research focus includes community health and human development, health care delivery, and racial/ethnic health disparities utilizing mixed methods, participatory, and organizational approaches. He currently serves Chair-Elect of the Community Health Planning and Policy Development Section of the American Public Health Association, Co-Chair of the Health Workgroup of the University of California Asian American & Pacific Islander Policy Multicampus Research Program, Research Consultant for the Association of Asian Pacific Community Health Organizations, and grant reviewer for the National Institutes of Health. He served as past Chair of the Asian Pacific Islander Caucus for Public Health.
