
Bleu is the Senior Advisor for Emerging Markets and Philanthropy Partners, having recently returned to Save the Children US. Save serves in over 100 countries working in the hardest-to-reach places around the world keeping children healthy, educated, and safe. Bleu previously served 7 years at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital as the Senior Philanthropic Advisor in the Pacific Northwest.
Bleu has spent 35 years in senior positions working in the nonprofit sector for national and international organizations with a focus on children’s healthcare and education.
She serves on the International Advisors in Philanthropy (AiP) Board and is Co-Chair for the Punahou Alumni Association Northwest. Bleu is a co-trainer for the Effective Philanthropy for Advisors Certification Program, presented in collaboration between Stanford PACS and AiP.
She is Native Hawaiian, having grown up on Oahu. Bleu has a BA in Business, Minority Studies, and French from the University of Arizona. She has also studied at St. Mary’s University of Minnesota and Golden Gate Law School.
