Dr. Diane Paloma is the CEO of The King Lunalilo Trust and Home. Its mission is to perpetuate the legacy of King William Charles Lunalilo to honor, tend to, and protect the well-being of kūpuna (elders). The Trust includes the Adult residential care home, and Adult day care center and a home meal delivery program.
Since 1995, Diane has worked to combine her passion for Native Hawaiian culture with the health and medical fields. She has spent time working for a private physician, Hawai‘i Medical Services Association (the Hawai‘i Blue Cross/Blue Shield Association), the John A. Burns School of Medicine and is the former Director of Native Hawaiian Health at The Queen’s Health Systems. She is a graduate of The Kamehameha Schools, holding a BS in Physiological Science, MBA, and PhD in Healthcare Administration. Diane has also achieved the rank of ‘ōlapa in her hālau going through a formal ‘ūniki process and recognized in 2019 as one of 20 For The Next 20 by Hawai‘i Business Magazine as having a major impact on Hawai‘i over the next two decades.
