Elizabeth Myung Sook Krause is a senior program officer with St. David’s Foundation (SDF) in Austin, TX. Elizabeth leads SDF’s healthy food access, opportunities to be active, health insurance, dental health, and women’s health portfolios. Elizabeth also serves on the City of Austin’s Asian American Quality of Life Advisory Commission. Previously, she spent 11 years with the Connecticut Health Foundation as a program officer and as VP of policy and communications. While in Connecticut, Elizabeth changed the landscape for statewide health equity work and was a leader on issues of coverage, community health worker systemization, and quality improvement for underserved populations. She started her career with the Center for Disease Control and Prevention’s Public Health Prevention Service, which took her from Atlanta to Denver to Rwanda. She holds a master’s degree from the Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health and a bachelor’s degree from Smith.
