Neal Shah is a Shareholder attorney with Polsinelli, an AmLaw 100 full-service law firm with one of the country’s largest health law practices. Neal’s practice focuses on health care compliance and regulatory issues, with a particular interest in health care fraud and abuse laws and innovative value-based care models. Neal helps health care provider clients understand their rights, responsibilities, and opportunities as they navigate a rapidly-changing health care market.

Prior to his private legal practice, Neal worked for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services on matters related to the implementation of the Affordable Care Act. These matters included the implementation of Accountable Care Organizations, the Stark Law self-disclosure protocol, and financial management aspects of the Health Insurance Exchanges.

Neal is a graduate of Georgetown Law, holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Illinois, and a bachelor’s degree in biology from Loyola University Chicago.
