The Dare to Be Brave: Ed Tepporn Fellowship Fund celebrates a long standing staff member, respected community leader, family and friend Ed Tepporn, former executive vice president at APIAHF, who helped to create the Health Rising Leadership Institute. Much of Health Rising’s success is due to Ed’s love and dedication for developing a program that would inspire AAs and NHPIs to be leaders who lead with love and purpose in the community.
All donations collected during this year’s Giving Tuesday and end of year giving campaign will go to the Dare to Be Brave Ed Tepporn Fellowship Fund which will support one Health Rising Fellow in next year’s cohort. The goal for this year’s fundraiser is to raise $10,000 to pay for one fellow’s travel and hotel expenses, 5 coaching sessions, and 2 in-person leadership trainings that will take place in Oakland, CA and Washington, DC. Any funds raised in excess of $10,000 for this campaign will be used to fund future Health Rising Fellows.
