Development Manager

Emily is the Development Manager at APIAHF. In her role, she builds strategic partnerships with businesses, corporations, and foundations that share APIAHF’s commitment to promoting health equity in the AA NHPI communities. Through these relationships, Emily’s work helps amplify and enhance the impact of APIAHF’s programs, advocacy, and thought leadership.

Before joining APIAHF, Emily served as a Development Manager with United Way of Northeast Florida. There, she specialized in co-creating community investment plans and leading fundraising campaigns for corporations seeking to fund initiatives aimed at breaking the cycle of generational poverty. From her previous work as Associate Director of Development at the Jacksonville Speech & Hearing Center, Emily also has versatile experience in grant writing, digital fundraising, and individual donor stewardship through a health equity lens.

A first-generation college student, Emily graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a B.A. in Government from the College of William & Mary. She later received a M.S. in Nonprofit Leadership from the University of Pennsylvania.
