Helen comes to APIAHF was a strong mix of fundraising and program management experience and currently serves as a consultant at Campbell & Company. Most recently, Helen was a Leadership Gift Officer and Major Gift Officer at Sidwell Friends School, where she connected constituents to the School’s mission and supported the School in achieving its philanthropic goals. Helen helped build the School’s mid-level annual fund giving program and worked closely with the Alumni Engagement team to identify potential donors through their work. In this role, she was also responsible for training and managed a volunteer committee focused on growing the number of annual fund leadership gifts among alumni.
Helen also served as a Diversity Manager and Development Manager for the US Tennis Association Mid-Atlantic and an analyst at Abt Associates, Inc. where she worked on USAID’s private sector flagship health project focused on building public private partnerships in developing countries.
In addition to her professional experience, Helen is a Board member for the Active Children Excel (ACE) Project in Chicago, IL and the Jow Lung Kung Fu Society in Washington, DC. Helen is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, DC Chapter and serves on the chapter’s Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Access Committee. She holds a B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Dickinson College and a Graphic Design Certification from Corcoran College of Art and Design.
