Rocky Matthers is the Community Engagement Manager at Asian & Pacific Islander American Health Forum. In her role, she implements community engagement plans targeting new AA & NHPI community-based organizations and assists in developing content and products to be used in community engagement efforts as well as engaging community members. Before APIAHF, Rocky was a fashion model working for various brands and designers and worked for the San Francisco Department of Public Health working as a navigator for the Behavioral Studies Department. She has an extensive background in media having worked for the Golden State Warriors’ and Giants’ video departments.
Born and raised in Oakland, California, Rocky received her B.A. in Broadcast Electronic Communication Arts from San Francisco State University. In her free time she enjoys spending time with animals, family and finding the best cafés in town.
