APIAHF

During these uncertain times, we believe more than ever that Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (AA and NHPI) immigrants and families deserve equal access to health care. It is important that these communities are not left out of our national response to COVID-19. Unfortunately, those most impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic are immigrants and families who work on the front lines as essential workers who include caregivers, doctors, nurses, custodians, delivery workers, social workers, grocery and postal workers, just to name a few.

We must urge Congress to support provisions in the HEROES Act that would support the health and well-being of AA and NHPI populations. This means ensuring immigrants have full access to testing and treatment. People who need language assistance must easily find information and services in their primary language. And the data reporting the disparities around who is being most harmed in the pandemic must be representative of all communities.

Contact your House representative today and tell them to support provisions that help immigrants and families.
