The purpose of this report is to help dispel the misperception that AANHPI communities do not experience health disparities and other disparities related to social determinants of health. Featuring advocacy success stories from two community-based organizations in California, the Fresno Immigrant and Refugee Ministries (FIRM) and the Orange County Asian Pacific Islander Community Alliance (OCPICA), this report offers a window into how CBOs can  influence policy, build cross-sector coalitions, and create lasting change to address health disparities found in their communities.
