WHAT IS THE AFFORDABLE CARE ACT (ACA) MARKETPLACE OPEN ENROLLMENT?

ACA Marketplace Open Enrollment refers to the period of time that takes place each fall where individuals and families can come together to compare and select health plans for the coming year. Plans change every year so it is important for people to evaluate which plan best suits their current needs.

WHO QUALIFIES FOR A PLAN?

To qualify for a Marketplace plan you must:

• Live in the United States

• Be a United States citizen or national, or be lawfully present (learn more about eligible immigration statuses)

• Not be incarcerated
