APIAHF

The Health Rising Leadership Institute is a cohort-based program for Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AA and NHPI) health justice champions who will lead and inspire the movement for health equity. These leaders share deep experience in community, a passion for health justice, and a desire to grow and learn. Through a combination of 2 in-person convenings, online curriculum, and one-on-one coaching, Health Rising fellows deepen their skills in both transformational leadership and storytelling for advocacy.

By the end of the 9 month program, Health Rising fellows emerge as even stronger storytellers who lead from a place of purpose. They also gain a supportive community of fellows and APIAHF staff as they continue on their leadership journeys. Our goal is for Health Rising fellows to continue to be inspired and committed to achieving meaningful change for themselves, their organizations, and the communities they love.
